Hi, first in foremost I am a mommy to a brilliant 10-year-old little boy. I am married to my husband Duane, however, he is not just my husband he is my best friend; the one who has seen me fail and succeed, made me laugh and held me when I cry. The lord gave me two wonderful gifts when he put my husband in my life and then my son. We live in TN where I am attending APSU to get my degree in Elementary Education (k-6). We have one Dog, Mackenzie Ann. I owe everything in my life to God, he has blessed me, gotten me through many rough times, and is continuing to work in my life. As of right now, what I do is, I am a full time student, a mommy, a wife, and lastly I teach 4-5th grade life group at my church.

Baked Apple Bowl!

I have seen these on face book and decided to try them out; they were a hit with my boys!

This is what I did:

Get as many apples as you need to feed your gang.  Wash them off and dry them.

Cut the top off just enough to remove the stem maybe a half-inch thick!

Take a melon ball scoop and scoop out the inside; you want to scoop out enough room to hold the ice cream!

Take butter and spread all over the outside of the apple
(I even coated the inside)  Country Crock spreadable butter worked great.

Next, take brown sugar, pat all over the outside of the apple, and sprinkle some on the inside.

Take cinnamon and sprinkle over the apple.

Place in a 350-degree oven for around 30 min.  (I prepared everything while I was cooking dinner and then let these cook while we ate dinner).

Take out of the oven and let cool
(ice cream will melt really fast if you do not let them cool)

While cooling take and melt some butter sugar and cinnamon in a pot then take the inside of the apple you scooped out (not the seeds/core) place in pot cook until apples are tender.

Lastly, place ice cream in apples pour over caramel over ice cream then scoop apple topping on top serve and enjoy!

 Who is ready for Fall?!?!?!
